The thermal hotel complex Hotel Bagni Nuovi, belonging to Qc Terme Group, lies in Stelvio National Park, along the road that from Bormio leads to the Stelvio Pass. The medieval buildings and the nineteenth-century part have been renovated and restored conservatively. The images of the completed works show the historical and architectural value of this intervention and its complexity because of the location.

The wooden structure and the surface area made of wooden boards have been completely preserved in compliance with the historical heritage. The foundation and support structures have been strengthened with a support beam fastened deeply to the rock. The façade has been strengthened using suitable products in compliance with the historical value of the structure (grouting through injection of “colloidal binders”). Finally, the structures have been adapted to contain the thermal areas built on the lower floors of the hotel complex.
