Civil engineer and Partner, in CEAS since 2003, he has experience in the design and construction supervision of reinforced concrete and steel constructions, as well as in geotechnical design. He acquired considerable experience in urban areas for works closely connected to existing buildings.
In the early 2000s he contributed to the detailed design of tunnels and stations of the M2 subway line in Milan – Famagosta – Assago section; afterwards, he focussed on the subject of excavations in urban areas aimed at the realization of underground car parks and residential buildings. He has considerable experience in complex construction site areas, where success is greatly determined by the study of intervention phases together with the prompt coordination among various disciplines involved. Accordingly, he supported CEAS’s construction supervision team in the final phases of the Fondazione Prada Museum’s construction.
In the recent period, Mauro has participated in the redevelopment or new construction of important residential and commercial complexes, such as Corso Como Place in Milan, new residential complexes in viale Boezio and Via Alserio, the restoration of the famous Torre Tirrena office tower in Piazza Liberty, a new boutique hotel in Porto Ercole, the recovery of former Teatro Smeraldo, Green Pea – Eataly’s new green retail park in Turin, the hard retrofitting and recomposition of Pirelli 35, and the new Olympic Village designed for Milan-Cortina 2026.
